Lu started writing a poem and creating artwork as a way to try and describe the helplessness of feeling at your lowest, that you have no control and are being whisked off by the tide, by a force it is impossible to fight against. How it can feel when that fog descends and you can't remember what it was like to feel okay, and cant imagine ever feeling that way again. Then suddenly the fog lifts a little, and you remember, you can breathe. You don't know for how long for, but you feel hope, hope you can feel okay again.
