Daren Cox is a contemporary British landscape photographer based in Newquay. His photos are inspired by nature, myth and the cosmos.
Daren spends the winter months photographing the dramatic Cornish coast when it's frequently battered by powerful Atlantic storms and huge waves.
In the summer months, he spends more time photographing the Milky Way, Moon and other space phenomenon in a landscape context to create surreal, almost dreamlike photographs.
Outside of photography, Daren is a trained expedition leader and bushcraft instructor as well as being a bit of nerd on the computer.
He has a wife Liz, two daughters Olivia and Eva and a dog called Daisy who all share in his passion of the sea.”
